I got staples TRU RED remanufactured ink over a year ago. I just learned that they are not usable at all. Printer reports error. I got 2 of staples ink and both staples ink are not working with the HP printer. Not happy about it.

Overall they work well in the printer. I have learned that after about three times using recycled cartridges it is wise to order and use HP cartridges for a cycle. The printers seem to get upset and don't work properly if they don't get their HP fix.

Why pay full price for HP 950XL/951 4PK when one can saving about $20 by purchasing remanufactured ink! Honestly our rating is a 5 Star for having an option as opposed to paying full price. It is shameful that HP continues to overly price their ink and treat their customers with such disregard. Thankful for TRU RED for looking out for their customers. Staples gets a 5-star rating while HP gets a 2-3 star rating! Most definitely recommend saving money!

bought in Jan 2021 put in printer in Feb and printer wouldn't accept. Pushed off doing anything with until March when we called product support 877-228-3128. Christine confirmed a firmware update happened on the printer after the cartridges were manufactured and she's sending out replacement cartridges to get us up and running. Pleasant experience can't wait to see how the replacement ink works.
