A nice well constructed binder but I am not sure it was worth the upcharge in price. The spring binder release mechanism is good quality though so if you need a binder that will last a while this may be your best bet. The cheap ones die young.

Seems to be a good quality cover and ring mechanism. The pocket inside the front cover is fixed. If you don't want it there you'll have to cut it out with a knife or razor blade. For the cost of this binder the pocket should be removable and a clear plastic pocket like the one on the cheaper binders be permanently installed front AND rear.
