They're sheet protectors....what can I say....they do the job. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is that they are overpriced. Didn't see any Staples brand as an alternative.

I bought these for my elderly father to put letters he and family members had received from the late 1800s to the mid 1900s so he can share the letters with family members and not worry about them getting hurt. He was thrilled.

I love these! Use them all the time. I put my recipes in a binder and each recipe is put in a sheet protector. I made a mini cook book for each of my kids with all the the recipes put in a protector. I use them in my office / work binders for items that I look up often - but do not change very often. They give everything a clean and professional look. Strong but not too thick.
