I purchased these not realizing the pages were inserted on the side instead of at the top. That was just not what I was personally looking for and I would prefer the top loading sheet protectors.

Why side loaded sheets? If you accidentally turn a binder upside down with top loading pages you may lose the contents. With side load you must remove the sheet from the binder before adding or removing pages. I like these because you do not need to punch holes in each piece of paper also keeps the sheets clean and neat
