The cover folds back to create a secure writing surface when a desk isn't available. I also really like the label area on the spine- much easier to use than the slide-ins. Overall the best binder I've used so far. Kudos on the design and quality!

Easier to open rings than others like the heavy duty edges hope they will help to last longer without splitting.
