This is a VERY sturdily built binder; it looks like it will last a long time. I've only had it a couple of days so far so I can't say for sure. There's a clear pocket on the front for an 8X10" piece of paper and a slim clear pocket on the spine for a label. The spine label pocket is remarkably easier to use than any other binder I've ever encountered! There are also two clear pockets on the inside of each of the covers. They are not the usual straight-across pockets but curve down from the upper outer to lower inner corners of each cover.
This is a strong durable binder. My son is rough on binders going through several during the school year. I bought these for him last year and they have really held up well. I (he) does have one issue with them. He does nor like the way the pockets are angled on the inside of the front and back covers. He says that his papers fall out too easily when he opens the binder. Maybe consider putting the pockets straight across like other binder of this type. I do like the rubberized seams and corners though. Overall these are very good.
We are constantly buying replacement view binders for our 11 employees. I am gradually trying to replace the economy variety as they wear out with the "better view binders" with the hope that they will last and in the long run be less costly. The rubberized spine looks more durable. I will write another review as these binders are placed into service and I get a sense of how much longer they will last than the cheap ones. So far I have purchased only 6 binders. If they pass the longevity test I will be buying more.
This binder is excellent. The spine is reinforced and the rings are off set so it works really well when using documents in plastic document protectors. Rings open easily with a single button. Great product.
