Exactly what I needed for a specific use

I put tech scripts in plastic page protectors into a 3-ring binder to run lighting and sound equipment at the local community theatre. The light and sound control boards are located on a booth with a laminated counter-top and every other 3-ring binder slides on the laminated top when I turn the pages. In the dark losing your place in the script or watching the binder slide off the counter onto the floor is NOT fun. So this binder with rubbery edges and rubbery coating on the center rib DOES NOT SLIDE and it is perfect for what I need. I've only had the binder for a few weeks and haven't done a show with it yet. I do wonder about how long the rubber parts will survive before they begin to dry out or crack hence 4 stars for now.

Better view binder with D rings

These binders are like no others. They are very sturdy durable and easy to label and use. D rings keep the papers inside the binder from binding up and getting stuck in the middle of the rings when you are flipping back and forth from page to page or front to back. I will not buy any other binders now that I have found these. They last a lot longer than other binders and that means less trips to the store and less money spent because they last so long. I'm guessing because I like them so well they will stop making them so anyone that reads this better go and buy them before they are gone. The pockets in the front of the binder will hold any size paper and keep it tucked in the binder which most binder pockets don't do.

nice binder with non-slip cover

This is not your standard three ring binder. It has a rubber-coated edge that keeps it from slipping on a podium or a stack of papers on your desk. The cover has a slide-in space so you can personalize it. It also has an easy to use insert for the spine on which you can write the title of the binders or its contents. The rings open easily from the bottom. This is now my favorite binder.
