The cool blue tone is still streamlined with the black binders of the family. It stands out just enough to draw attention but does not seem misplaced among the row of black binders that I have. It is not as bright as in the picture shown. It is durable and functional for what I use it for.

Overall the binders are OK as they are durable one hand opening and cover modifiable. I just don't like the inside front cover pocket. It is too bulky and snags on papers. I liked the original version that just has the clear paper slip.
