Would have been great if it lasted!

Purchased for my 11 year old son who is extremely careful with his things. After 1 week the built in pocket came unsewn and after 3 weeks the zipper broke apart completely. Totally useless after 3 weeks of careful use! Mead used to stand for quality, what the heck happened?
Pros: Great organization
Cons: Flimsy Construction, Not Durable At All

My son likes these to organize his schoolwork but by February we were on the 4th one. Three had already broken. The first one, the binder rings weren't matched up. The second and third, the handle broke off. If you don't plan to carry it by the handle then it might work for you. But we are disappointed with the poor quality and complete lack of durability.

Cons: Flimsy Construction, Handle breaks upon first couple of carries, Poor Color Variety

Best Office Product Ever

I think this binder is the best way to get organized. I used the multi- acess file to keep all of my graded work. I used the rings to keep looseleaf paper in. I put my pencil case in the area in the left of the binder. I put my phone in that strap pocket thing. The great part is that I can put things in it without putting them inside the rings or pockets and they will not fall out. I put my five star flex hybrid notebinder in there. I also put a mead folder in there. This product almost takes the place of a backpack. I use my backpack only to put textbooks, my lunchbox, and this zipper binder. This produxt is so great because it keeps everything in a compact space.

I bought this for my 5th grade daughter, who takes care of her things. The zipper binding started to fray in the first week. A month later, the zipper was unsewn in three places. By Christmas, the binder had pulled away from the cover and was falling out. Not impressed with the quality at all.

Cons: Came Unsewn 1st Week, Flimsy Construction, Weak Zipper, Week Zipper

five star review-zipper broke

Love the binder everything about it but why don't companies start paying a little extra for zipper quality. Zipper broke several times, fixed it then finally completely broke. Used for my 11 year old, would have paid 50% more if the zipper would have lasted. Just bought another one from competitor, don't like it as well as Meads but don't trust it would last. Lasted 3.5 months.

Cons: Difficult To Open/Close
