That great big advertisement on the front of the binder does not come off. I am planning on giving the binder and contents as a gift and I am very unhappy to find that I can't remove the huge advertisement for Staples on it. I would have liked to have a place to slip something inside the front cover to say what was in the binder. Then the sheet protectors that I am using are getting caught on the place in the holders where they connect. Really sad. The only good thing is I like the color. Otherwise I would never buy these again and I would not recommend them to anyone.
Binders are not all equal and this Staples 2 inch binder is the best of any I have found. It’s sturdy not too bulky when filled and the D-ring construction makes it easy to add or remove pages. It comes in a lot of colors which allows me to group contents by type. The outside spine measures 3 inches but it holds a 2-inch stack of paper. I highly recommend this model.
These Staples heavy-duty 3 ring binders are the best I have found for serious organization. They are very sturdy hold a lot of paper and don’t tear the paper at the ring holes. The covers stay flat and don’t wrinkle and the D-rings make it easy to page through the contents.
The spine of the binder is closer to three inches than two it was bigger than I expected. I'm also unsure how well the rings will hold up to extended use the one touch open is nice but seems a little flimsier than the old style with two tabs to open.
The heavy duty Staples binders are well made. I've tried other brands but have always returned to Staples and will continue to just buy Staples binders in future.
