I have been a dedicated Staples customer for many years. I use Staples View Binders for many of my work projects and some personal ones too. In the office I use them for storing accounting data like accounts payable accounts receivable invoices bank reconciliations General Ledger Reports Check Registers and much more. I also use them for our customers when we prepare class course materials. Sometimes I have many different sections in the book and can use tabs for each different section of the book. I use them for proposals when we are bidding on a new job. Most of the proposals we have done in the past require one or more three ring binders. The reason I like the view binders is that I that I can always make my presentations look better by putting a cover of my design in the slip cover front sheet pocket and the side as well so that any way the binder is laid it can always be viewed with the identifying information facing out. I have used every size binder from ½ inch to 6 inch for various projects for many years. I always use a white binder because it has a cleaner appearance when making a presentation. Although I like the idea of always using white binders I know that there is an assortment of colors if I choose to make a different statement or need a different color for a specific job. The D ring works well when you have a lot of paper in the binder and doesn't seem to curl up like the "O" ring binders do. By that I mean the paper always lays flatter in the binder with a D ring. I also like the fact that there is a pocket on the inside cover. It is a great place to put in a few extra things you would like the customer to see CD's or a brochure. Or in the office I can put reminders for end of year or other important information that needs to be front and center so to speak. I also use the extra pocket for things like handouts or freebies when preparing the class materials. In having said all that I have I am a fan of the Staples View Binders. My only negative comment would be the price. I wish that the cost could come down a bit. Overall I am still a satisfied Staples customer.
The 2" binder offers a solution to being organized. It is the normal excellent quality type product that one is accustomed to receiving from Staples. The product is sturdy and should be able to withstand any kind of use. The 2" size affords the user the ability to utilize for many uses. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone. Again it is a quality product at a very reasonable price. The norm that we all welcome from Staples
Bought this binder because it was on sale but would have been worth it at full price - sturdy rings don't stick large enough to hold what i need it to.
Binders are useful for a lot of different things other than just having a binder full of women. Bet most people won't understand that comment. However I use these binders all of the time. I used them to organize the tax files for clients who can't seem to really organize their own. Some of those files seem to be just too large to be kept in ordinary files or filing cabinets and these binders seem to be just about perfect for that purpose. The only drawback is that I use them so often at times I don't seem to have the space to store them.
The three (3") inch Staples Standard View Binders are perfect for the Practice Financial Valuation reports that I routinely prepare for hospital and health system clients. My format has been very standard (15 tabs) with written text and source documents which I always organize and present to my clients in the three (3) ring binder. When I visit my clients' offices it is nice to see all of my Practice Financial Valuation reports displayed on bookshelves in conference rooms etc.
I like this binder. I like the slip-in's on the cover and side. I wish it had pockets inside which I didn't think about when I purchased it. I often have hand outs from workshops and downloads that I would like to just put into a pocket instead of needing to make sure I don't lose them before getting to a whole puncher with which to punch the three holes and make them safe in the binder. I like the colors they come in and the 2" size is perfect for my needs. Please make more of these with pockets in the front and back cover. Thanks.
