I use these for my course binders one for each unit of study: lots of colours and sizes so I can easily colour code each course. So durable (I actually collected data on this)that I feature them in the "binder talk" I have been giving to incoming parents at our school for the past few years. (how to help your child be organized e.g. buy good binders!)We also give them as prizes at the talk. Hinge is the best; D-rings keep pages from tearing; spot for label on spine; whole sheet can be inserted on front for table of contents schedule etc.
I needed to get a strong good looking binder for my class presentation. after looking at several different binders I chose to buy the Staples Brand Binder. Its rubber bumper construction meant it closes evenly and covers over the pages. It is stupid easy to open. I was working with pages and labels and I opened the binder with one finger. It closes evenly. I debated buying the 2 inch binder because of the amount of items I was placing in the binder but int he end I went wight he 11/2. It was a good decision. Even with all the page protectors and folders and pages it still closed and held everything together. This product is a bit pricey but definitely for the money worth the value.
Binders seem better than the average but with the rubber edges they split too easy. Love the variety of colors. Probably better if for personal use where you don't use them every day. For business use they are handled by a lot of people every day. Several rings end up not really closing
So far so good. I have boys and they are very hard on their binders. I use them in my classroom and they are holding up great. They are so easy to open and close.
