My son went through 3 binders and this one was the last one I bought it is so study even he can't seem to destroy it. It has survived the school locker the football locker and a lot of books piled on it. It's a little pricy but well worth it! I'm guessing it will be a hand-me-down for his brother.

Not any better than other binders

I was looking for a heavy duty binder to withstand everyday use. It is a nice binder and looked like it would hold up but the center ring no longer closes because there is quite a large gap. I have only had this binder for a week now and it has not held up any better than the standard binders I have purchased in the past.

I teach first grade and I use many types of binders. I need something that will travel well from school to home. I have a tendency to overfill my binders and this can certainly take it.
