My daughter has been using this for 4 days and so far no complaints. This binder seems more sturdy than the other old style types. I gave it 4 because the end are a bit flimsier and it is expensive!

We used these binders last year for school and felt they really did not hold up well. By Christmas all the binders we had purchased were falling apart and in some cases we had to purchase new ones.

Worth the purchase

My sons school requires them to have 3 ring binders for every subject. Before buying this binder we found ourselves buying replacements at the beginning of the second semester. We were actually able to make it the entire school year. Surprisingly we are able to use a few for a second year which has never happened before.

Rings don't shut tight

Am very disappointed in this binder. Just bought it daughter customized it with her own slide in cover/label put in all the dividers and paper to be ready for the first day of school... and it doesn't shut tight. One of the rings sits about 1/4" open when the other two are shut. Which means that every time you try to move the papers on the ring they get caught or fall out. I expect a lot more out of an $11 binder and am very disappointed that it is broken before it has gotten any real use.
