Rings are cheap and flimsy. Within 3 days this binder was useless for my 5th grader. I presently use a 5x8 one of these for coupons and it is still going strong after 2 yrs. Seems like rings should be stronger to support dividers and daily school use.
I've used several different binders and by far this is the best. For cost and construction these are at the top of the list. I love the way they open and how eays it is to put documents in them. They are well constructed and look very nice setting in a bookcase or on a shelf. The last thing is how strong they are and how they hold up when abused. I've droped them and never had a problem with the rings opening up and the papers flying out. If you want a well built binder that also looks good these are the ones you want.
I use many Staples products and have been impressed with the Better Binder D-Ring View Binders. The hold up under rough handling and come in a wide variety of colors so I can organize departments etc. with specific colors from your options.
