1st time using this new model binder(s). Always get 'view' and own many colors. This 'better' binder is good I really like the rubber edging and feel. The 1 button release for the rings is magic and the color palette is sweet. Do believe I will be a new convert to this style binder. Though I do miss the 1/2 page front/back envelopes...the clearview replacement is a bit clumsy and unforgiving so if you have unpunched pages you may be challenged to stow them until you get to your hole punch. I do recommend trying this product.

Amazingly lightweight for the material that it is and almost indestructible. My 4th grader carries it all day and she loves the curved edges that don't hurt her arms.

i WOULD NOT BUY AGAIN

Bought this binder because in the medical field it gets frequent use. This binder from day one did not line up correctly. The middle ring is off-set and will not close unless you actually line them up by hand. Makes flipping thru the binder a real chore because the pages keep hanging up on the uneven rings.

This binder is a great notebook for my grandsons special projects! Only problem was the first one purchased was damaged and had to be returned to our dismay as it was needed on a Monday and it was purchased on a Sunday. Had a few points taken off his grade but hopefully we will get that resolved with his great grades and this one will stay together and add to his one inch binder and the three inch binder all Staples Better View. We purchase all our school needs from Staples as we trust their supplies and they are a great store!

Cheap Quality for an expensive price

I bought this binder for my daughter and within a week the metal rings wouldn't close and the rubber was beginning to break apart. We returned it and got a white one and within ONE DAY the same thing is beginning to happen. I think that Staples needs to get their products tested by students who actually use them. For the price it is terrible...the sales associate tried to give me a hard time about returning it...I told him we had only had it for a week. We will be returning the newest one and buying another brand. My daughter has stated that several students in her class have the same binder with the same problems.
