At our school we were asked to purchase a 2 inch trapper keeper. I purchased a five star 3 inch trapper keeper that came was a pencil holder and a strap so you could carry it on your shoulder. on the hamburger it was beautiful but once everything was added it weighed a ton. I just purchased this 2 inch binder from Staples. It holds all of the folders and spiral notebooks that my daughter needs for all of her classes and it doesn’t weigh a ton or take up as much room. It may not be as fancy as the five star trapper keeper or offer as many add-ons like pencil case and many other accessories but it was a fraction of the price and much easier to maneuver in a small locker between classes with such a little time. I wish I would’ve went this direction from the beginning. But maybe when she’s in high school she will be able to use the five star trapper keeper if they get a bigger lockers.

I bought the orange D-ring binder which is a very bright color so I can see it on my shelf. The large capacity was just right for my use. The price was a good value too.
