Unfortunately the item I purchased opens when I turn pages and constantly have to re-thread the pages. I've taken to taping them together so it doesn't open. However the page turning is no longer smooth. I plan to go back to the store and see if I simply got a defective binder or if that's the way all of them work.

I am putting 4-H membership records in it for a history for the 4-H club that I was an adviser. The club has stopped and I have years of records. the notebook will hold membership records for placing on shelf for people to see and read. The other records will be in a air and water tight container that is safe. Everything will be given to the Galena Historical Society. With the D ring it will lay flat and easy to turn pages. It's is easy to read items that is in it. It is reinforced on the rubberized spine.
