I bought this for my grandson. I thought it would last since it had plastic covering in front and back. Leave it to boys for them to find a way that it wasn't sturdy enough. This is the first time he has had to use a 3" binder. This is first year in middle school. I have already bought 3 binders since the first of school year. It is more trial and error more than anything. I don't think girls have any problem!

Closing the rings manually (by not using the button) is not possible.
I love these Staples Binders and will keep using them.

Very good for keeping papers at your finger without doing a lost of searching.

First one had a bad middle ring in the binder but staples was happy and quick to replace the binder. I wish the pages would fill better however this is a 3 inch binder so thats a lot of pages to flip. Better for storage than everyday use but it is very durable and priced fair..

Binder has already broken at rings. Staples won't take back because I do not have the receipt. Had to purchase another binder elsewhere
