Could be better!

Didn't work for me. Returned because every time i turned the pages one or two of the three hole punches would come loose in the binder. I went to the store to see if mine was defective but realized that all the binders seemed to have very loose metal rings that you could open a decent amount by applying just a little pressure. I would up getting 3 1" binders that did not have the same problem.

Rings won't stay closed!

I manage a non-profit and bought this binder to organize all of our files in. The binder is used by about 10 volunteers each day (and by about 100 people overall). I thought this was the perfect solution for our organization because we've previously had problems with the cover falling off of our binder within a month or two due to the frequent use. The durability of this binder has been outstanding in terms of that. On the other hand within 1 day of buying this binder the middle ring would no longer stay closed. I took it back to the store to exchange because I thought it was just a fault with that particular binder--boy was I wrong! The next one I got did the exact same thing!! I kept it this time hoping that it would just stay slightly separated and that the durable cover would make up for this one issue. The rings are so bad now that we are no longer able to use it (after just a month or two). If Staples created a binder with this durable cover/construction and rings to match that it would be the perfect binder! Until then I can only give this 2 stars as a binder cannot be used if the rings don't line up properly. I'm disappointed that I forked over the extra money to buy this binder thinking it would solve all our problems and it really just created a different one. I think I'll stick to buying the cheap binders to replace every few months when the cover falls off for now...

This Binder is the best made

This binder is required from school and I'm glad they finally choose a quality one. Last year with another type I was buying binders every month. This one lasted through the entire half year. I also use the same binder different width for my business. superb quality.

Need a ring binder that the ring will not bend when note pads are put in the binder.

I have a son who is extremely hard on just about everything. We went through probably 8 binders at least in just 1 school year one time. We got him this binder and it lasted him all school year which was unheard of! I HIGHLY recommend it!

I only use Staples Better Binders. They are a bit expensive but are a quality product.

Rings do not close properly

The rings on this binder did not close properly and papers would get stuck on the points tearing them. I exchanged it for another one and the same thing happened. My child`s teacher said that this particular binder had issues with the rings and to purchase something different. My child chose this binder because of the rounded spine making it easier and more comfortable to carry which was a definite plus. We could not find any other binders with the rounded spine. It was unfortunate that the rings did not close properly.
