My daughter has to have a 3 inch binder for school. We purchased a cheaper brand in the beginning of the school year. Because of every day use and the large amount of spirals that have to be crammed in the binder it has already broken. We now have purchased the Better Binder and have been very pleased. No sharp edges opens easily and design of rings hold a lot more. This binder may cost a little more up front but in the long run it pays for itself. We will definitely only purchase the Better Binders for all the coming school years.

Love the Better Binders. They are very sturdy have a label pocket for identifying the contents a front pocket for a cover page & inside 1/2 pocket for items needing filed.

The rings were aligned when I bought it. I put 2.5 inches of loose leaf in the binder and within minutes the rings stopped being aligned. This makes the pages difficult to turn which was the whole point of the binder. I would not purchase this again.

I bought this notebook for my middle schooler who needed a 3 inch binder. She uses it daily and it has held up beautifully. She loves the D ring and the fact that it opens and closes easily. It is larger and durable enough to hold all of her core subject materials. As well it is large enough for her to keep schedules pocket folders and pencil pouch. I would definately recommend this notebook to anyone who has a middle schooler that is required to carry a large binder. I would also recommend this product to teachers as it is large enough to be a data binder.

I bought this for my lesson plans and it is not functional at all. The binder rings are uneven. One side is curved and the other is straight so that when you flip the papers over it always gets stuck. Some of my papers have ripped doing this. Not a product I would buy again.
