I would recommend this to students.

My son uses this binder everyday at the school. The last two years he had to replace a new binder twice or three times a year. But he does not need buy a new one during this school year. It is light weigh but durable. I was rating four stars because I expect Staples to product more different types of binders such as zipper binder.

You would think that a 3" binder could adequately hold that much paper - otherwise I wouldn't have purchased that large binder.............but NO.............the rings open when I turn pages - get caught - just garbage!!!

The spacing on the rings is just a little too far apart so any sheets with plastic covers are impossible to flip. I would not recommend it to anyone! I am going to give it to a charity thrift shop.

great notebook

This is one notebook that will not break at the corners. I'm using them to scrapbook. Also for my recipes and everything I want to keep. All other notebooks I've ever used break apart so the covers fall off.

3" Staples® Better® View Binder with D-R

All these binders are excellant! They are not heavy yet are strong enough. Soft edges are great for meetings when I hand them out to the managers. The mgrs. continue using the binders through their work week. I bought the D-R. for my son and it's wonderful for school. My daugthers are teaches and they love them too!

I work for a garbage company and we use these for our drivers route sheets. one binder for each day of the week. in the past we would need to replace our binders a few times a year. The new binders have lasted us 2 years now. Only had to replace two because the routs got bigger and needed a larger binder.
