These are the best binders for holding heavy documentation. They are very sturdy with locking D rings. They come in many different colors - my favorite is teal.

I purchased this binder for sheet music that I keep in sheet protectors. The pages constantly get caught in the D-rings which makes the binder difficult to use.

A Better Binder?

I use this product for large volumes of music that I accumulate through the responsibilities that I have with organizations. When the volume gets too big it is cumbersome. I also found that that quality for the price was not so great. I hardly had my folder for a year and it started to tear in a strategic location which means I will spend another [$] to replace it. I think the value for the money is not that impressive and will seek another folder resource in the future. I thought this folder would be adequate but it is not.

WEAK D-Rings

I returned the two 3" binders that I had purchased. The D-rings would open every time I turned a single page not even multiple pages. I didn't feel comfortable putting 400+ pages of material in the binder for fear that the D-rings would not hold. They look nice but are not functional. Note: I did check other 3" binders of this same model at the store to see if the issue was only with the ones I had purchased but it seems to be an issue with this particular model of binder.

Sturdy Vibrant Colored Binders

The Staples Better View binders are clearly more sturdy than other binders I have used. I also love the variety of colors. Now I can "color coordinate" various subjects that I tutor with Classical Conversations. I also use some binders to store pictures rather than the traditional albums.
