I really like this binder I'm using it to organize our Kindergarten curriculum. I was able to fit four gusset folders and 27 pocket folders in it and there is still room for more!

For years I have had great luck with the 1" better binders. They last all year for my kids. BUT the 3" has been another story on our second one after the first one's rings stopped lining up. Bought second one and it lasted <2 weeks with same issue.

I'm the assistant secretary of the choir at church and I had a binder that I organized the lyrics to the songs we sing and other documents. After a few months the binder basically was in shambles. I found this binder at Staples and I've had it only a couple of weeks but the construction looks like it addresses the issue I had with the binder falling apart. I only wish it had pockets like in regular binders. If this one falls apart I'll be back to amend my comments.

Good binder but check for defective 3-Ring closure

I've bought these Staples Better 3-ring binders in various sizes for years. I will continue to do so BUT check the 3-ring binder mechanism lock closure fit before you purchase. The first binder failed to close/lock in the middle ring causing the inserted papers to fall out. Returned the defective binder and swapped for another in stock binder with no problems. Staples honored their guarantee no questions asked. Don't hesitate to buy these but double check lock fit before purchase.
