Terrible quality for "heavy duty"

Binder is very light and flimsy. It feels like thin plastic over weak cardboard backing. The front plastic was already delaminating when I got it. This would be 3 stars for an "ultra value" binder for "heavy duty" it's a joke. Avoid.

Excellent binder

Very attractive binder at a very attractive price. I was able to compare it with a similar binder from a different source and Staples is the winner hands down. Better material better appearance very hand opening latch that works well for my arthritic hands. A win all around.

The Binders were delivered on time and in good condition. FYI the color was more deep purple than burgandy as I expected.

Heavy Duty

I am please with the binders on all points but one. I wanted a one-touch opening and it has that. But that means the farthest ring from the one-touch opening is a weak link. There is a tendency for that ring to open when the pages are turned. It's irritating when I have to turn the pages in a hurry and I worry that that constant pulling open of the ring will make it permanently stay open.

Client Presentation

We have used a number of binders purchased at Staples - always in our company BLUE. We have always found the size we needed in BLUE. Our client presentations very in length and so we have used a variety of sizes. Our upcoming client presentation requires a larger binder - thus the 1.5 inch purchased. We need capacity as well as pockets for our team business cards. I especially like the clear front for show casing our cover sheet. Since we may be adding pages in the future this binder is a good choice for future additions to the presentation.
