I love the 3" binder for recipes. The binder lays flat and I can read the recipe without a problem. My granddaughter uses the 1 1/2" for school and organizes everything in it. My husband likes to put his sports clippings and trading cards in the 1" binder. We enclose everything in see through sheet protectors then into the binder. These binders are very sturdy and I have never had to replace one because it didn't hold up to the task not even with my 3 year old grandson flipping though the pages.
These are the best binders that I have ever used. They are easy to open with one hand and you never have to worry about getting your fingers pinched when you close the rings. They are well worth the extra money.
As a teacher I needed a binder to keep the work for the semester organized. This can do the trick nicely I actually have two binders a 3 inch master binder and this smaller one that I carry back and forth to class. However when it is full it can hold a lot of pages and get quite heavy. I use sheet protectors and the cover of the binder is big enough that the sheet protectors are fully protected.
