I like the Staples binders much better than the Avery binders. Staples binders have soft smooth edges while Avery binders can have 'sharp' edges. They work well and come in a lot of nice colors. I have noticed the prices creeping up on the product but if you recyle your old binder and use a coupon for your new one then you get a good reasonable price.
Well made very servicable binder. Transparent sleeve on front allows 8 in X 11 1/2 sheet to be displayed. Spine had clear window for titling. Selections of colors makes divisons and classifcation easy. Binder rings open and close easily. Rubberized hinges and edges help proctect binder and permit it lie flat when opened. I would prefer a horizonal pocket inside front cover for notes rather than the slash pocket which allows paper to fall out. But overall I rate 4 stars.
This is a really great binder. I used to purchase the white cardboard-covered binders until I decided I was not going to purchase 3 each school year. My son can usually use the Staples Better View Binders with D-rings for 2 school years (and he is not exactly easy on binders).
These are the greatest binders I've ever tried. I really like all the vivid color choices. The way they are constructed makes them very durable. I think they will last much longer than the typical window binder. I used mine for our family cookbook. I put a photo in the front of the binder and like that it had an insert on the spine for the title. I made several copies and distributed them to my three daughters for their birthdays. They were so complimentary regarding the look of the cookbook. Their friends have now asked if they could be an honorary family member and have one too.
