This sturdy binder is perfect for my needs. I have placed each loose knitting pattern (such as those copied from friends as well as individual patterns purchased from such places as Ravelry and Patternfish) in plastic protective pages. The D-shaped metal rings are so much better than the old circular ones I had been using; wish I'd switched over long ago!

Definitely one of the better binders

I have used the same Staples Better binder for five or six years now and it is still going strong. It gets a lot of use as I carry it to school/work in my backpack. The rings still close well. The only thing that is no longer functional is the little plastic "pocket" inside the front cover; I tried to shove too many loose papers in it. I would definitely recommend this style of binder. I have bought several more for myself including this new one.

I needed a new binder since my current ones were getting too full. The first thing that caught my eye was the beautiful color. The next thing was the type of sturdy and flexible cover. The third things were the squared off rings that slid properly when opening and closing. It also helped that my husband had purchased one last year and was well pleased with it. The place on the spine where you can identify the contents is very helpful. Just write the name of your folder on the sheet provided and slip it in the slot. Easily removeable too.
