The mechanism to open the rings consists of one lever at the bottom of the ring strip. Open with one hand. Doesn't get any easier than that.

I like this binder it is very sturdy and easy to use and I like the color. it all so opens easy.I like all of the binders stapleles has to offer I bought a big one and a smaler one for coupons. They all so have great coupon sheets to put in the binnders. and all there workers are very helpfull
