I bought eight green and eight blue of these binders to assemble scrapbook/picture albums for my two sons dating from 1990 to 2013. The size 1.5" is the perfect size... not too heavy but held plenty. It was important for me to have the pocket in the front and back and the clear plastic covering the notebooks for not only longevity but to decorate with a souvenir or picture that pertain to the volume. Staples had a large selection of colors and sizes and for me one stop shopping with my archival pens acid free protective sleeves and acid free glue sticks all at very reasonable prices.

I purchased this binder in just about every color that was available. This is a sturdy binder with a D-ring closure and can hold up to 300 pages. It does not have the easy one-hand clasp opener but we really don't mind that. Our company is using these binders to hold daily documents so we need a binder that can stand up to being used multiple times per day. I also ordered the 1" 3-ring binders in the same colors so we can color-coordinate our daily documents with our monthly documents. (It seems to work for us.) The colors are bright and bold and help to make the office more "cheery." I would recommend this product.
