Although we would prefer to spend less when it comes to binders it seems like you get what you pay for. We needed a good heavy duty binder for my daughter to put her choir music in. This binder gets a lot of use since she has weekly practices must practice at home and needs to insert and also remove music on a fairly regular basis. Also her binder needs to look nice since they ocassionally use them in concerts. We would purchase this binder again. It holds up well and looks nice and seems to be able to handle all the use we give it.
The good news is that the front and back covers have two plastic sleeves for extra paper. This is convenient for items that I need to find quickly such as contracts and notes about an impending job. What I don't like is how the rings are mounted an the back of the inside cover rather than on the spine of the notebook. I use the notebook for music and I cannot flip to a different page as quickly as I used to be able to with the old style mounting of the rings. Unfortunately I had to use the notebook for a gig the evening I bought it. I'm not sure if I can return it. I am disappointed to not be able to find the older style ring mount at Staples. Will have to look elsewhere. Also I don't believe the notebooks are as sturdy as what I have bought in the past.
Love my new binder it is sturdy and has extra pockets in front and back . The rings inside are extra strong and the clear front lets you slip your pictures or title of what's inside. I think anyone who purchases these kind of binders will be very satisfied. The fact they come in different colors also is a plus. You can then use them for different subjects or products that you have to sell. I chose the white one because for me that shows up the best. The pricing on them is also very reasonable especially when the coupons are out for them.
Gee I think I just purchased this about two weeks ago for a project I've put together. What appealed to me about the binder was the clear pocket on the front that I could slip a picture of what the information inside of the binder was about. The bottom release was a little different to me and I still have to stop and think before I open the rings. The true red color is pleasant because it is not one of the fadey red colors most surely pleasant to the eye and better able to spot on a book shelf or table top. Good job Staples.
