Well made and has one side with straight metal rod to hold papers in place like a book.

I love the durability sylish colors and it makes me feel that my documents are secure protected inside. I also liked this product better than the higher-priced name brand binders.

This is THE BEST BINDER For the BUCK.

These are TRULY BETTER binders. They last a school year with rough teen locker use. The three and four inch binders are expensive in much less quality binders and have to be replaced as soon as a month. Kids have these loaded and they have still been in really good condition after a full school year. Staples has great sales on binders and you really end up with a good binder for the price of a regular sometimes.

Mostly sturdy

This folder is great and can take a lot of abuse such as daily carrying back and forth to school opening and closing the rings several times a day and being packed to capacity. The folder's front pouch and inner flap however can come loose with too much abuse. Those can come loose and then be useless. My sixth grader went through two of these folders in one year while a girl in his grade was able to reuse hers from last year. It also depends on the user and how hard somebody is on their things. Generally a sturdy and high quality item.

Truly the best binder

These are by far the best binders. While they are more expensive initially they can be used for longer periods of time and because they last longer they are a comparable value but are better while using them.
