Outside cover has always been super strong. Inside rings were always loose catching pages and tearing the holes. It appears they changed the design of the rings or used a new manufacturer as I suggested for years and the rings are now tight and will hopefully hold up to frequent opening and closing and turning of the pages in the annual calendar.

Like the thinner binders (1") I wish it had the pocketed envelope inside the front cover with the elastic button latch. Other than that this is a great binder!
