The sheet protectors are good quality but they are shorter than a regular sheet of paper so the top of the page sticks out and is not protected.

I used this sheet protector for a portfolio that I had to hand in for Grad school and it worked perfectly for documents as well as photos I had taken

A little bit thinner than advertised

Upon opening the box and inserting a few pages into the plastic (fairly easy to do no problems there) I recall wondering just what the thickness of the plastic actually was. I wanted long-term document protection for frequently used papers. Upon measuring the thickness I found it to be in no case thicker than 3.2 mils and more usually 3.0 to 3.1.Okay that's nit-picking you say and I wouldn't have said anything and would have bought them anyway if they had been advertised as being 3.1 mils but they weren't. They are on average slightly less than 10 percent thinner than they should be. [...]

When I placed the document in the protector sheet a small portion of the document extends beyond the protector sheet at the top.
