Sheet Protectors

I was alerted to these sheet protectors when my boss wanted me to work on a special project and wanted the important papers protected and placed in individual folders for the conference. I then used them again when 9-11 happened. I was finding articles and pictures every day for months. I am sure by doing this it was my way of coping. Now I use it for my recipes. I have several notebooks with recipes. What I like about the sheet protectors is I take them out of the notebook and am not afraid of getting something on the recipe.

I like the Staples Heavy Weight sheet protectors I've used them for many years and will continue to use them. I would of given them 4.5 stars if that was possible. I gave them 4 stars because I think the inside of the sheet protector is ever so slightly narrower in width than the same product I purchased in 2012. It took me longer to insert the page because they would start to bind up on the edge when the page was half way inserted. I had to hold the page exactly parallel to the edge of the sleeve. I was also using 24lb paper instead of 20lb so the strength of the paper should of slid right in.

On the positive side I thought the price was fair and I especially like the clarity of the sheet protectors. On the negative it's difficult to get the slit open and then it's hard to get the document (paper) inserted. Sometimes the paper itself gets damaged trying to get it into the protector. Still I like it better than the Office-Max protectors; they cost more money and to me have a bit of a milky appearance. But they do open up easier. I would buy the Staples sheet protectors again anyway. Maybe the next box of them will open up easier...

Needed to replace the box of sheet protects that once was full but now became empty. It has been a few years since our last purchase. The old sheet protectors looked just like the news. There was no degration in prodcut over the years.

These are good quality document protectors. I bought the large box of 100 and they were all good unlike some brands I have bought previously. They are nice and clear and have remained flexible even when left in a hot car for several days at a time.
