Staples Heavy-Duty Sheet Protectors

Staples "Heavy-Duty Protector Sheets" are used by me in two ways: (1) To protect print and color photos of Mason Bees nature's Super Pollinator in a presentation portfolio; and (2) to preserve over 200 Biographies and Biography Highlights on Hawaii music artists for Music of Aloha. A biography and sometimes two biographies are completed each week. Each biography is inserted in a Staples Heavy-Duty Protector Sheet and placed in a 3-inch Staples D-ring Better Binder. My goal is to compose 600 biographies and hopefully more of Hawaii's music artists past and present. Both the Heavy-Duty Sheet Protectors and the Better Binder(s) serve me well in this growing project. I highly recommend Staples "Heavy-Duty Sheet Protectors" for both personal and professional usage.
We really like these protectors easy to use heavy enough to last and not so thick you can't close the binder. Easy to see through can easily photo copy through.
In our office we use the heavy weight sheet protectors for paper masters that we wish to preserve for the long term. The Staples brand version works just as well as more expensive brands. They lay nicely and are very cooperative when you are inserting your pages. I have been using them for a number of years to my satisfaction. They are non-glare so you can make a photocopy without removing the original. As a teacher I often have my teaching notes in the protector and can read them easily.
In the past to open these sheets i would put between my thumb and forefinger and slide. This package was very difficult to open. The trick I found was to try to open from the top with one thumb on front sheet and the other on the back sheet. I would also do with thumb and forefinger - but always at top. Most of them opened easiest on right side. But it did vary. Otherwise even though I find them not as heavy duty as in the past I do like them. I gave it three stars for the problem of opening. If you are in a rush you will toss them quickly. But if you have the time to sit and open them it's worth the savings in money.
I have found that the Staples Heavy-Duty Sheet Protectors are the best in quality and cost as compared to others I have tried from other office supply establishments. Any sheet protectors would be very helpful maintaining and organization system for the multitude of forms that I use for special education meetings therapy documentation school district documentation and state Medicaid documentation. These particular sheet protectors because of the heavy weight film that is used hold up last. and do not need to be replaced during the school year.
These Sheet Protectors really worked well with organizing and protecting our documents we use repeatedly and now our pages won't tear out of our binders.
I have bought these in the past and they were perfect! I have binders full of these that WERE great. Staples changed these and they are LIGHTWEIGHT NOW! Now I am seaching for a new sheet protector source!
