I use a lot of these binders to store patterns for various sewing projects. Along with the clear sheet protectors they make my life much easier as I can find the exact pattern I'm looking for. I use the clear sleeve on the spine of the binder to hold a picture of the particular craft and another picture on the cover so I can pull the correct binder to find the specific pattern. I also put a printed list in the spine sleeve of the designer's names for the patterns contained in each binder. This makes my life much easier and more organized.
Over the years I have purchaserd evrery size available in the heavy duty view binders with d-rings. I have one color for each orgaization that I belong to. Having them color-coded I can keep them on my book shelf by organization and still have them alphabetized for easy access. I have also purchased the legal size binders for the same purpose. The i/2 inch binders are ideal for the social activities sign ups at our homeowner's association. While the 3" to 5" are ideal for maintaining files and information that I need to take with me to meetings etc. These binders are strong and sturdy yet very reasonable in price. The easy view cover and spine allows me to make professional labels and spines.
I use this binder as a photo album I can fit an entire year's photos in one binder. It is heavy duty and the rings are easy to open and hold several pages. I also use it a recipe binder.
