Not what I was hoping for.

I purchased this binder for sheet music that I keep in sheet protectors. The pages constantly get caught in the D-rings which makes the binder difficult to use.
My daughter's middle school switched over to requiring all the kids to have 3" binders to keep all their notes and work in order. I have often purchased multiple 1" binders and they take up so much space and I have to replace the notebooks a couple of times through out the year. So far there is no sign of wear and she is happy with it's easy open and close.
Bought this binder for my middle school son. He dropped it within days and one of the rings is now out of whack. It won't close so now it's difficult to turn pages or notebooks. This may be a good binder but not very durable for school age children. It needs to be tough enough to withstand the carelessness of a kid.
I have collected recipes from magazines that I have cut out - now that I am retired - I organized them by categories labeled the categories and placed them in clear sleeves.
This was a required school supply item at my son's Junior HS the teachers said because of its durability that it will last for the entire schoolyear. The students have to cram a school binder reminder 4 spiral notebooks 1 graphing math book a composition notebook filler papers handouts pencil pouch etc. The only negative about this binder is that it is quite difficult to open & close the rings. I think if it was a D-ring instead of the O-ring it would be easier to use.
