I bought this to hold coupons. Yes I'm one of those crazy coupon ladies. I'm just getting started & needed a big binder to ge me started. I like that it has gippers on the edges. It those to keep the binder in place and not sliding around.
I just cannot understand why we can buy a one inch binder for less than five dollars but a three inch binder costs almost fifteen dollars. It is made very well and works very well but to me it is over priced somewhat. When I was shopping for a three inch binder they all seem to be overpriced. I am a college student and have to watch my money. It looks like there is not ten dollars difference between a one inch binder and a three inch binder. But this binder is a very heavy duty and dependable binder.
I needed a binder to keep 400 pages of a reference guide for taxes. This is something that I would use on a daily basis as a tax preparer. Being that I am a sole proprietor with no employees that travels a bit I take this binder EVERYWHERE with me. I can be pretty rough on binders too! This one... it lasts! This rings in the binder snap so tightly that I don't have to worry about the pages falling out. I mean the rings on the binder a REALLY sturdy! I was excited that I got to pick out my own colors so I can color code my reference binders.
This binder is easily seen on the shelf easy to wipe off. I have some of these that are two years old and the binder holds up well. My only complaint is the slight separation in the D-rings. After use they separate and make it difficult to leaf through the pages and difficult to add more pages. I use the binders for quilt patterns and quilt projects and it is annoying when the rings are not aligned. The D-rings are actually quite heavy and stand up better than most in a large binder size.
I purchased this binder for my son to use at school and he loves it. He says that it is very easy to open and close and that the rings are better then the usual round ones on the other types of binders. I like that staples stands behing their products and if you have any problems they are more than willing to take care of it. I am please with help that you get at the stores when looking for certain things. My only complaint is the lack of color variety. I would like to see a larger choose of colors.
Binders are constructed well and they hold as much as most 4 inch binders that I have used. I have a couple of issues. 1) When the binder is full is has trouble standing up. 2) I wish that the window on the spine was larger. For the money they are a great binder and I would recommend them.
This folder was for my daughter in Junior high school. She is the one who told me about the quality durability of this three inch rubber binder. The other three inch binder I got her at the beginning of the year lasted three months. She walked out her front door and the folder fell and broke. Not a good investment. Alot of kids at school use the three ring rubber binder and have told my daughter how durable this binder is. So time will tell. As long as this binder last at least six month I'll be happy. Even happier if it will last the rest of the school year.
