I have purchased many different styles of Heavy Duty binders in the past. When buying school supplies for three very active and rough handling boys through all grade levels these binders have held up the best. Several thru multiple school years. When the school year ends I have the boys empty them for cleaning and decide if replacement is necessary. The front cover pocket is the only thing that doesn’t last for multiple years on a consistent basis. If the D-ring is opened by the lever they last a long time if not overloaded. I have purchased a few of these notebooks which had a tabbed pocket in the front. I like the feature a lot. The navy one has slashed pockets in back and front. I don’t trust the pockets for security purposes. Papers can fall out. I use notebooks to stay organized while doing the accounting for my Mom and closing the Estate of her late husband. The black rubber hinges may not be the prettiest but I have had no problem with it holding up. I would definitely recommend this product.
