3 hole punch Mead 2 pocket folders don't fit well in the binder

Please note there is a potential conflict with use of Mead 2 pocket folders with the precut 3 ring holes. If you use the precut holes the folders are too low in the binder. They get stuck and catch on the bottom of the binder where the black ring release is located making it difficult to move them. A different brand of pocket folder might fit better or you can punch new holes in the folders to raise them up out of the way of the black release.

We usually buy the Better Binders for their durability. Unfortunately I think we got a dud this time. The pocket seam gave way as soon as two empty folders were placed in it.

This binder was expensive and it won't close shut completely once we put the notebooks inside. I'm very disappointed!

Too bulky and big to fit in a backpack for school.

Just as the title says the Staples Better 3-Inch D 3-Ring View Binder is too big and bulky to fit in an adult size backpack for school especially with other books and supplies. The school district had this binder on their school supply list for middle school but we are going to use a few slimmer binders rather than this huge big one. I would not recommend it.
