A sturdy binder for lesson plans

I like this binder because it is a well made and of a heavy duty quality. I am using it for lesson plans which grow in quantity as the year goes by. This binder fits a lot of pages along with heavy plastic sleeves and pockets of copy masters. I have two of these in different colors one for language arts and one for history. I like the fact that I can make my own cover pages and insert them and they look really sharp. These travel back and forth in my rolling crate between home and school. Thanks for supplying me with good tools for use in my job.
Due to a vision problem I am typing all my recipes in a 16 font and including pictures. Each recipe is in a sheet protector and placed in a binder. I have 2 cheaper non-Staples binders that I currently have recipes in now that have fallen apart after only a year. They cost $0.69 less each than this Staples binder. They were vinyl covered carboard and creased in the middle at the first pressure. And the vinyl tore easily. This binder is designed to take pressure without creasing and there is no vinyl to tear. I will be buying more of these to color-code my recipe collection.
So far so good. I have boys and they are very hard on their binders. I use them in my classroom and they are holding up great. They are so easy to open and close.
Bought for teen at start of Freshman year. Halfway into sophomore year and they still work like new. And he still likes them. Great! Also use them for work (art / teacher) and for organizing knitting patterns. Like the new ones with the finger hole which make them easier to pull off the shelf. The built-in pockets have also held up well. Also like the new colors that are available now. Just wish we could find the new ones year-round not just at back to school season. fourteen characters away from bonus points....
These binders are tough and last over 3 years of hard use hauled daily in a backpack and carried from class to class (ones of lesser quality and price only make it through 5 months of use). These are well worth the price.
I love a bargain....especially since going back to school. May seem pricey at first but w/ sales coupons and recycling quite reasonable. They're almost indestructible!
