This notebook is very light and easy to handle. You can insert a cover diagram and a binder label. This notebook has black rubber edges that do not allow it to slip off of your lap or a smooth table. I love it. The "D-ring" opener has a low tab that works very easily and is out of the way otherwise. This is a good product.
I am REALLY glad I bought this particular binder. Due to the reinforced rubberized spine and edges I don't lose my grip on it when I hurriedly pick it up off the desk to go to class nor do I get awful cuts on my fingers from the sharp edges of the "usual" non-rubberized binder edges on others I've owned. I also prefer the "D-Ring" to the standard round ring. It seems simpler to manage pages on D-rings. I wish however the inside pockets in back and front were the standard all-the-way-across type pocket. The lack of second corner means papers tucked in the fold tend to slip toward the D-rings every time I pick up or put down the binder. The binder seems very sturdy. Opening/closing the rings is a cinch!
This is my favorite notebook as most importantly it is not slippery to handle works well has room for inserts that can be changed as my need dictates comes in sizes to suit me and comes in differnt colors so that I can file subjects in matching colors.
This binder comes in a multitude of colors. I happen to pick purple this time. My husband just finished reading his Mother's Life Story. He thought it would be appropriate to put her story in a purple binder as this was his Mothers' favorite color.
I have always loved Staples Better Binders. I have used them for years and they are so durable and I am not really gentle with my binders. I use them for school mostly but would definitely use them for other things. I highly recommend these! They may be a little expensive but I believe they are worth it because they are such great binders! :)
I bought the first one a couple of months ago. While these binders can be a bit on the pricey side they are durable easy to open and close and handle a lot of stress. I have bought five more since then.
