I bought a black and white "Better Binder" to see if it was true! It is kind of. The spine label is inserted from inside the binder and is only about 4" long. I thought the clear plastic loop closure document envelope inside the front cover would be as good as or better than plastic sleeves for loose paper. Unfortunately the envelope just barely holds an 8-1/2x11 paper. There isn't anything on the back cover to to stash a loose piece of paper. The shape and feel of the binder itself is an improvement -- no "sharp" edges. I'll just say this better binder is a fancy binder different but not better.
I Like being able to stick labels in from the inside instead of sticking to the outside. I wish the window was bigger but there are binders with full lengh windows. I have a hard time sticking labels in the because the labels tend to fold not with this design.I take voice lessons and use it for her music at lessons. She was very impressed with this. It has a pocket window inside I can stick my ipad or notebook into.
I needed a handsome especially sturdy binder to insert 30 pages of Art Exhibition Cards and Articles from my time as Curator of a University Art Gallery. This product fit the bill perfectly and the result is fantastically handsome.
