THE SLIM DESIGN IS PERFECT FOR ANY SMALL SPACES. THE ONLY REASON I GAVE IT 4 STARS IS BECAUSE THE LID DOES NOT CLOSE COMPLETELY WHEN THE POD IS IN PLACE. MAKES IT APPEAR TO BE A DEFECT.
This is a warranty replacement for the same product that failed after four months. It was being descaled for the first time and never came back on after the descale process presumably completed. I'm skeptical that this device with last any longer. Moreover, the previous unit was a replacement for a similar Keurig model that failed just after the warranty expired. All in all, I'm concluding Keurigs aren't as reliable as they used to be.
The pot requires two "pushes" to brew coffee. The initial push supplies droplets of water/coffee mixture. Then one must begin again, raise the lid, lower the lid, push the button and finally a cup of coffee will be appear. I cannot recommend this pot. Repeated calls to Keurig provide promises of a return call from a supervisor, but it never happens.
I am so pleased with the excellent service that I received from the KEURIGcompany when I had to contact them after my coffee maker failed me. I had only had this wonderful KEURIG coffee maker eight months when it produced a burning smell when I turned it on and tried to brew a cup of coffee. Nothing lit up on it…. I was puzzled. Since it was under warranty, I received a new coffeemaker once I had shown proof of purchase and followed their directions on the information they sent me. I had a new coffee maker sent to me in less than a week. I was impressed with the turn around time and even happier that I was able to get the same coffee maker as before. I was treated with prompt attention and kindness by the service reps from the beginning to end of this experience. I will highly recommend this company based on how well they stand behind their products.
