This was a warranty replacement for a previous one I purchased very recently that blew up during the brew cleaning cycle. Keurig was very good about giving me a replacement after I had to take pictures and several other things to show them what the brewer did. It actually started smoking. I have had Keurigs for years but I have not found them to last very long. But I like the convenience and the K pods and the model choices. This replacement model seems to brew more slowly than the one that blew up. Not sure why that is since it is the same model.

I've had three of these fail on me.

When this works, it's a great machine. But three times now, it has just totally quit working and we've had to get a new one shipped to us. Kudos to Keurig for standing by their one-year warranty. Make sure you keep a photo copy of your receipt.

Over heated

I have had this keurig for Leads then a year. while I was descaling it, it over heated and shut down. Now it will not turn back on. I tried unplugging it for a while but it still will not turn back on. I have read other reviews and it seems this is a recurring issue on this model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dies after descale

Had my 1st one 3 months and died after descale. Replaced it with the exact one and 4 months later the same thing happened. During descale add water light didn’t come on and it must have over heated and after adding water it wouldn’t work again. So I YouTubed it and if you take the cover off you can reset the thermostat. It came back on and runs but still says descale. Love the single cup idea but this is a hassle
