I thought like the rst it would be difficult to work but it was very simple. I am 81 years old and even for me the coffeemaker is easy to use. I had a lot of other Keurigs but to me this is the easiest and the best.

Plastic taste

Was excited to get the newest Keurig home as our 10 year old Keurig just died. Followed the directions exactly and brewed my first cup. The taste of my coffee (grounds) was different. I couldn’t pinpoint what it was. Then later in the day I made a cup of tea (k-cup). It too, tasted “off.” I ran 4 cycles of plain hot water and tasted each one. It was then I discovered a plastic taste. I returned the unit to the store and got the same exact one thinking that it couldn’t happen again. Unfortunately, the same plastic taste was there. I even had another family member taste some hot water that I “brewed.” I noticed that the clear plastic reservoir had a strong plastic odor. The water that I used to fill the reservoir came directly from my filtered refrigerator dispenser. That water tasted perfect but when it was brewed by this coffee maker, it tasted really bad. I had to return it for a refund. I’m really disappointed because it’s a beautiful machine but it makes terrible tasting coffee.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this smaller design. My old keurig finally quit, so I started using my drip maker again...first time in years! Couldn’t get used to the hassle of the whole production, and bought the new one and it’s like night and day...I had forgotten the convenience...and the coffee is perfect!
clear water comes out before coffee - not sure if it is defective or if its supposed to do that but it tastes weak and stronger function doesn't seem to help - it also drips coffee after it finishes brewing if you don't pull out the k cup right away making a mess
