[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] amazing product powerful I've never had to use more than power level 4 out of 7 and wood is obviously no problem but where this shined was in cutting metal. normal circumastance that would call for angle grinders. I can achieve more precision and cut time is great pair this with Bosch star lock metal blades they do a great job I cut through 1inch stainless very impressed especially for the battery platform

Power and Precision in hand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the perfect tool for my custom weekend warrior project. Having a creative project does not mean sacrificing precision or comfort. Using the Bosch Starlock MAX Oscillating Multi-Tool made my custom cat tower/Tree and pup house project an enjoyable success. I found precision, low impact to my hands, and arms, and incredible versatility. I had an expectation of experiencing hand fatigue and was pleasantly proved wrong. The comfort feel of this tool in hand is superior. I appreciate the ability to use this tool either left handed or right handed without loss of precision or performance. It’s perfectly balanced in weight, which allows for the added pleasure of completing any task or project with continuous comfort and control.

Very powerful multitool. My friends tried it and were impressed by the ergonomic feel and power. It is a bit bigger and heavier than theirs but they loved using it.

Longer blades make things easier with StarlockMAX!

The length of starlock max has been a lifesaver in many situations where the multitool is the only tool that fits. The downside of the longer blades is vibration, but you have to find the right harmonic speed. The tool is super powerful and the 4 degree angle cuts faster than previous generations. 10/10 tool.

40 vs 34

I had the original 18v 28 and need to replace. It was a great tool anyone that knows KNOWS. The starlock and power out did the 3 other corded oscillating tools I had. I decided to pay the extra for the newer 40 starlockmax skipping the 34 starlockplus and I have no regrets. The size and handle very little vibration and the power with an autostop when it cuts thru. It's nice.
