Been trying to succesfully season my griddle since summer. I follow all the steps EXACTLY, however my griddle top turns white and everything sticks. Its clearly a defective griddle top, however Blackstone refuses to acknowledge that. After dozens of emails with Blackstone, trying all their suggestions to fix the issue, nothing works. Had friends who have the same griddle come and try to clean and season it, same result. I wanted to love this griddle. Will continue using my Weber and use this occasionally.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to put together if you follow the instructions and put parts where they belong. Lol. A little misstep, but love it!!

So far so good! Easy to assemble, smart looking. Took sometime to season the grill but that may have been user error. It's a fantastic size... 36" of cooking power, looking forward to seeing how it will go with a big crowd to feed. Thank you
