Somewhat disappointed the griddle had a sticker on it and a good amount of it stuck a d we had a reallly hard time trying to remove it and it left residue.

We are very sorry your griddle top arrived in that condition. Thankfully it is not adhevise that is making that paper stuck to the top. This usually happens when the paper is added to the top too quickly after the warm soy oil is added to the top to protect it from rust during transit.
Some warm soapy water should get that paper off and the left over stickiness will just cook into the top when you season it.

Just assembled, QC isssues

Just assembled so far, and did a few rounds of seasoning. During assembly I had issues with searing the griddle on the base assembly. One hole was out about 1/8”. Die grinder was the only option to allow the top to seat fully.
My model has the retractable shelf, the hole for it are a little off and allows the shelf to sit at a fairly good angle downwards, quite annoying, but will see if it bothers me enough that I’ll want to fix it, which I probably will.

Inital thought, it should fit my needs well. Although, it doesn’t seem overly built. But, the griddle is quite heavy, the frame is a little lacking. A few small abrasion marks from transport, but over all happy with the purchase.

I started out with a 22" griddle and upgraded to a 36". I have since purchased another 36" Model 2322 and the griddle top is like sandpaper. When I was seasoning and wiped the oil, the griddle top is tearing my paper towel. I've never had this issue with others.
